Instant Immersion 102 Languages has two instructors that guide you through the entire program. These are real people and give the lessons a more personal feel.
This software teaches in all of the major languages and at $23.39, you can’t beat the price. The only reason the software didn’t rank higher in the review is the record, playback and compare function doesn’t display a wavelength of the correct pronunciation.
This software is set up like interactive flash cards. The instructors guide you through vocabulary lists and then you can play games to test your skills. Instant Immersion uses audio, video and written words to help you learn English. You can hear each word pronounced by a native speaker.
After hearing the word, you can record your own pronunciation and listen for differences. Visual wavelengths of the pronunciations would be a good improvement to the program.
Instant Immersion 102 Languages covers most of the fundamentals; however, we would like to see more writing and grammar exercises. This would make the program more complete and provide a more solid foundation on which to build your knowledge of English.
Even the first time we used the software, we didn’t have to refer to the user manual. Everything is self–explanatory.
Instant Immersion uses audio and visual material to help you learn. You can repeat lessons as often as you like until you feel comfortable moving on.
If you just use this software, you will improve your vocabulary and pronunciation; nevertheless, we don’t think you’ll become fluent in English.
We didn’t have any problems during the installation and setup process. In order to use the record and playback feature you will need a microphone and headphones.
It’s unlikely you’ll need help using the program; however, there is a help button with some short tutorials. If you have technical problems you can contact customer support by email.
This is a simple–to–use, interactive program that uses real people to guide you through the lessons. Instant Immersion 102 Languages will help build vocabulary and improve your pronunciation. For software that offers more learning material, read about Tell me More.
